Highlights​


  • Refreshed the user interface with WinUI-style immersive overlays, improved context menus throughout the application.
  • Enhanced the Operation History with richer visuals and structured information for a clearer overview of completed package operations.
  • Added the ability to export installed packages and available updates to CSV.
  • The title bar search box now includes a Clear (×) button for quicker searches.

Improvements​


  • Added a confirmation dialog before resetting all settings to their defaults.
  • Main window borders now follow the system accent color, with improved fallback colors when Mica is inactive.
  • Operation panels now automatically resize to their content (up to three visible operations).
  • Notifications are now only shown when UniGetUI is hidden, reducing unnecessary interruptions.
  • Persist partially entered process names when configuring Close Apps.
  • Expanded environment variables are now supported in custom install arguments and installation locations.
  • Package search queries are automatically cleared when closing UniGetUI to the system tray.
  • Tray icons now refresh automatically when the system theme changes.

Bug Fixes​


  • Fixed a memory issue when opening embedded web content.
  • Fixed WinGet update loops for packages whose upgrades never completed successfully.
  • Fixed PowerShell modules always updating in the CurrentUser scope.
  • Fixed WinGet updates ignoring explicitly configured installation locations.
  • Fixed duplicate UniGetUI instances that could occur when opening the application from toast notifications.
  • Prevented self-updates from unnecessarily recreating the desktop shortcut.
  • Improved handling of UAC prompts by ensuring they are displayed in the foreground.
  • Fixed keyboard handling to prevent modified activation keys (such as Alt+Space) from triggering unintended actions.
