Opis programu Internet Download Manager

Zasady konkursu :

Żeby nie było za łatwo i była większa konkurencja zapisuję się na ten konkursik. Niedługo kończy mi się roczna licencja na aktualizacje programu dlatego warto by mieć kolejny roczek.A dlaczego go czyni najlepszym menadżerem pobierania plików? Wiele używałem menadżerów pobierania plików z internetu , ale Internet Download Manager przebił je wszystkie. IDM obsługuje serwery proxy, ftp i HTTP co czyni go bezkonkurencyjnym . Do tego dochodzi integracja z większością przeglądarek takich jak :
-Internet Explorer
-Opera
-Firefox
Chrome i wielu innych popularnych przeglądarek.
Program posiada kilka kategorii do których zapisywane są pobierane pliki: skompresowane, muzyka , dokumenty ,programy, filmy , niedokończone. Ja akurat nie używam tych kategorii i mam je skasowane , a pliki zapisuję w folderze ogólnym , który wskazuję w opcjach ustawień. Dzięki segmentacji dłuższe pliki są dzielone dzięki czemu pobieranie jest szybsze. Dzieki IDM możemy pobierać filmiki flash z takich witryn takich jak YouTube, MySpaceTV i Google Video. Program posiada opcję wznawiania pobierania plików , która się sprawdza gdy niespodziewanie przerwie nam ściąganie w wyniku nagłego braku internetu. Pobrane już pliki możemy przeskanować programem antywirusowym , który wskazujemy w ustawieniach. Dodatkowe -plusy tego programu to:
-planowanie ściągania
-wyłączenie przez program komputera po zakończeniu pobierania pliku
-dostosowanie wyglądu IDM poprzez dodawanie-usuwanie przycisków w pasku narzędzi . -Pobierania dodatkowych stylów toolbarów dzięki czemu wyglad programu możemy dopasować do własnych potrzeb
- i najważniejsza cecha tego programu aktualizacje. Program informuje nas o dostępnych aktualizacjach i pobiera je dla nas.

I have tried & used Free Download Manager, Download Accelerator Plus, Download Accelerator Free, Get Right and IDM. Not to forget the default download manager for each of the browser I used. Out of all these IDM is always the fastest for the same download link, and no changes in network or PC. That's why I'll rate IDM as the best.

Good Points:

1. Small download size.
2. No crap included in the download.
3. No-brian installation. I say as there is mere next-next-next clicks & it's installed.
4. It catches all downloads as soon as you press download/attempt a download.
5. It pre-recognized the category of a download link-video, setup-files, compressed files, music, and others. You can add you own custom category and even delete the pre-defined categories as well.
6. You can set the download location for each category above. Once set it always downloads that specific category to the specified folder.
7. It also supports to initiate the download at a later time, rather than immediately. This is very useful as we could let the download start once we are down with some inportant work/browsing.
8. The interface is easy to navigate and use. Nothing fancy though.
9. Once the main window is closed it sits in the tray.
10. If you try download the same file/link it pop-ups that the link/file already exists, do you want to overwrite. Again very useful.
11. If you download a video file it also shows the resolution, length - even before you download. This is very useful preventing you to download cut movies,shows etc. Example below:
AVI: Res. 512x384, 25 samp per sec, Length 43 min 59 sec
12. From the interface>Tasks you can opt to show drop target near the tray/clock. Then you can drag/drop downloads to this area also.
13. It allows batch download and import of links from notepad, as I tested.
14. It allows you to control speed, from "Speed Limiter" option. Here you can specify speed of each download.
15. The site grabber could be used to collect everything on a weblink. I'm not sure how good it works for the entire link, as I just grabbed some 5Gb of data using this. But in past I have used HTTrack Website Copier for 20-25Gb data.
16. It is Multilingual and supports 13 languages.
17. It pop-ups a window whenever there is an update.
18. The updates are very frequent. Almost 1 new build comes out every 15 days.
19. It supports integration of all popular browsers I know about.
20. You can configure in the option to scan the downloads with your virus scanner.
21. It also supports command line.


In nutshell, IDM is for one & all who do care of long download times. It worked perfectly for my needs and is the BEST out in the market.

Używałem go tylko w okresie testowania.Program zrobił na mnie duże wrażenie,najbardziej podobała mi się funkcja pobierania filmów,ale w ogóle program który warto mieć na komputerze,może szczęście się uśmiechnie i będę posiadaczem tego wspaniałego programu.

program jeden z najlepszych.używam go od dłuższego czasu ,chciałbym dalej korzystać z tego programu,lecz w niedługim czasie kończy mi się licencja,a to wielka szkoda. program super dlatego pragnę kontynuować w dalszym ciągu.liczę na łut szczęścia.

Chcę wygrać IDM ponieważ to zdecydowanie najlepszy menedżer pobierania. Niedługo skończy mi się na niego licencja więc wygrana w tym konkursie byłaby miłym prezentem

Używałem wersje trial Internet Download Manager. Mam dość dobre łącze ( 25M) ale na serwerach, które pozwalają na wielokrotne połączenia szybkość pobierania poprzez ten program jest zadziwiająca.
Pobranie pliku filmowego 3 godzinnego na youtube trwało kilkanaście minut.

Program jest prosty w obsłudze i automatycznie rozdziela pobierane pliki wg ich formatu do odpowiednich katalogów np. pliki zip exe jpg. To potem ułatwia dotarcie do nich.
Pobierane pliki można kolejkować czyli wrzucamy pliki do pobrania i możemy robić coś innego.

Reasumując: Internet Download Manager to bardzo dobry i pożyteczny program. Mam nadzieje że szczęście mi dopisze i wygram licencje pełnej wersji!

I used a trial version of Internet Download Manager. I have a pretty good link (25M), but the servers that allow multiple connections download speed through this program is amazing.
By downloading, three-hour movie on youtube lasted several minutes.

The program is easy to use and automatically distributes downloaded files by their file formats to relevant directories such as jpg exe zip files. It is then easier to reach them.
Downloaded files can be queued or throw downloads, and we can do something else.

To sum up: Internet Download Manager is a very good and useful program. I hope that I will add happiness and win licenses to the full version!

Internet Download Manager is one of the best download manager that have a unique technology in downloading files. It use up all the bandwidth but it don't compromise browsing. It automatically adjust the speed of download so that the browsing didn't not suffer. Another one is using allocated bandwidth to use it for download, the result is downloading the file fast!

Po tylu zachwytach przez szanownych "przedpiszących" nic już dodać..... pozytywnego nie dam rady
Program jako jeden z niewielu pozwala na konkretne zarządzanie przypisaniem do dowolnej przeglądarki, sposobem monitoringu treści pobieranej i... to czyni naprawdę najlepiej z programów tego typu na rynku.Tak chciałbym go mieć ale, miedzi brak dlatego dzięki organizatorom tego konkursu staram się "szczęściu pomagać"-oby-Pzdr!

No cóż , miałem nie brać udziału w tym konkursie ale żona mnie namówiła bym jednak spróbował. U siebie mam zainstalowaną najnowszą wersję tego programu i nie narzekam , doskonale integruje się z przeglądarkami choć dla początkujących może sprawiać kłopot .Choćby w wypadku gdy nie zaznaczy się opcji "Nie przechwytuj automatycznie pobrań z odtwarzaczy sieciowych" program będzie non stop przechwytywał wszystkie dźwięki z serwisów.
Chciałbym więc wygrać ten program w prezencie dla mojej Eli, która w tym miesiącu obchodzi urodziny.
