Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50 Public Beta

The Malwarebytes team is excited to announce the public beta release of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50. This version features many security, performance, stability and functionality improvements, and is without a doubt our best release yet. By releasing a public beta, we are asking for your help to try this version in your own environments and send us your feedback. Barring any significant issues, we expect the beta program to last approximately three weeks, and be followed by the public release of 1.50.

New Features

We are very excited about these major improvements in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50. This version represents a complete overhaul of much of our functionality. Among the highlights are:

* Dramatically improved scan speed: up to 5 times faster.
* Dramatically improved stability of both the scanner and protection module (free and pro version, respectively).
* More responsive: program loads up to 3 times faster, and protection module has lower impact on system resources (pro version only).


* You can now add files and folders to the ignore list manually.
* Ability to schedule and unschedule scans and updates from the command line (pro version only).
* Notifications of blocked malicious websites now include additional details such as type, port, and process on Windows Vista and higher.
* Dramatically improved flash scan (pro version only) -- determine whether a more in-depth scan is needed, in less than 10 seconds on many machines.
* One-touch easy-to-use option to keep protection up-to-date automatically (pro version only).
* "Warn if database is outdated by:" option now warns if the database is far out-of-date (7 days by default), including for protection (pro version only).

Backwards-Compatibility Support Policy

Malwarebytes urges all customers in the strongest possible language to plan an update path to Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50. The stability and security improvements in this version are staggering, and although we will support older versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (see below), simply put: you will not be as well-protected with older versions as you will be with 1.50.

We will support each version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware until one year after the release of its successor. So, we will support Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46 (and all previous versions, which we will consider "grandfathered-in") until one year after the public release of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50. After that, we will require an update to 1.50 or later in order to provide support. We think this is a reasonable policy that balances both our need to keep our customers' software up-to-date, and our customers' need to ensure reliability in their own environments.

Tak działa na 32 i 64 bitowych maszynkach,w becie dostępny jest tylko język Angielski, można zainstalowac na starą wersję.

Zainstalowałem i podczas skanowania usunął mi sterowniki do cd i modemu,ale przywróciłem i jest ok.Skanuje o wiele szybciej niż wersja 1.46.Język polski jest po instalacji na wersje 1.46,ale niektóre funkcje nie są przetłumaczone.Dziwne jest to,że ta wersja znalazła,mi też wirusy w 3 plikach,które rzeczywiście tam były,a wersja poprzednia ich nie widziała.

Faktycznie na język Polski nie wszystko zostało jeszcze przetłumaczone, ale co tam to dopiero beta

Też poczekam na wersję finalną tego programu. Miewam problemy z niektórymi programami w wersji beta.

juz pobralem 1.50 jest to wersja stabilna nie beta ,wszystko jest po polsku ,oczywiscie jest to wersja darmowa.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware v.1.51.0.600 BETA

Note to all testers:
Please note that we will be testing the internal program updater during the beta process, so that if you install the 1.51 beta, you may be notified during the beta period that a new (beta) program version is available. Please help us out by allowing installation of the new program version, and let us know if the installation proceeded seamlessly.

New Features:

1. 14-day trial of the PRO version is now available. This is optional to all users.
2. Scheduler now has an edit button.
3. User is now notified of program updates awaiting installation.

Overall Improvements:

1. Scheduling has been simplified, including relocation of scheduler.
2. Website Blocking is now disabled when protection is turned off.
3. Logs are sorted by date automatically.
4. Updating is now much more efficient.
5. All HKCU settings can now be set in HKLM to override user settings.
6. Protection module now more efficient in terms of I/O read bytes.

Issues Fixed:

1. Fixed ignore list not working for default registry data, i.e. for Broken.OpenCommand.
2. Add to ignore list menu item is now left enabled if show tooltip balloon is unchecked.
3. User is now able to update from the system tray even if the scanner is open.
4. Fixed full scan drive list updating issue.
5. Fixed issue with protection module not honoring ignore list after an item is restored from the quarantined.
6. Date format on update tab is now the same as the system tray.
