Song Surgeon Trainer is our desktop audio slow downer. It changes key and tempo, allows the creation of one looping area for repetitive playing, and has a 9 band EQ. All of these features can be applied in real time. Song Surgeon Trainer allows musicians to access to the power of slowing down and looping audio as a learning tool. Results from our survey of musicians showed that slowing down a song or music piece as a means of practice increased their learning ability by an average of 614%.
Song Surgeon Trainer comes with a written User Guide and a series of Training Videos, both of which can be accessed through the Help Button of the software. It can open most standard audio file formats, including mp3, mp4, wav, m4a, aac, aif, wma, and cda. This includes opening files on your computer, files from a CD and files saved in your iTunes folder.
