if you sign up for the Google Cloud, you'll get $ 300 (270.75 €) that you can spend over 12 months on all cloud services. For the verification you need a credit card, but this is not charged. After the trial period, you will be asked once again whether you want to continue using the service, so no unwanted costs.
Not that everyone needs it, but it can be useful to have your own VPN or Pi Hole on a decent server.
The costs will be billed monthly after the trial period.
